National Instruments PXI-6722 PXI Analog Output Module
The NI PXI-6722 (Part Number: 778999-01) Analog Output Module is a low cost, high-density model that furnishes 32 analog output channels with rates of 45 kS/s per channel, 13-bit resolution, and digital triggering. Notwithstanding analog output, this module highlights eight computerized I/O and two 24-bit counter/timers. It has a maximum update rate of 800 kS/s, and an analog output resolution of -10 V to 10 V. The module uses the PXI trigger bus to synchronize with extra data acquisition, motion, and vision items, so the user can accomplish custom estimation solutions for test innovative plans. The PXI-6722 is perfect for applications like jolt reaction, signal recreation, waveform generation, and actuator stimulation. This module works with NI Analog Waveform Editor programming to enable the user to make complex waveforms. The user can also produce new waveforms utilizing the more than 20 built-in waveform primitives or formula/equation entry highlights.
The PXI-6722 Analog Output Module is suited for refreshing at rates up to 1 MS/s, enabling the user to produce waveforms up to 500 kHz. When utilizing this gadget, the user has complete control of every datum point that is refreshed on the output for each channel. This element is important because it allows the user to characterize more than regular waveforms (square, sine, or sawtooth). For example, the user can make a sine wave that is overlaid with noise in which the amplitude and noise shape are client characterized. In practice, the waveform is characterized in a software buffer, inside PC memory, and is streamed to the voltage output gadget utilizing direct memory access (DMA) information exchanges. Utilizing DMA exchanges, the measure of memory situated on board the voltage output gadget is limited and swapped with inexpensive PC memory.
The PXI-6722 is run using the NIDAQmx driver software which is compatible with software packages such as LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI. It is equipped with a 68-pin VHDCI I/O connector. It has recommended operating and storage temperature ranges of 0 °C to 50 °C and -20 °C to 70 °C.
PXI-6722 Mature Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
The PXI-6722 is available to be calibrated. While the recommended calibration period for individual parts varies, most parts should be calibrated either annually or every two years to ensure accuracy. If you need the PXI-6722 calibrated, Apex Waves provides options. We offer high-quality NIST accredited calibrations through a 3rd party, with an average turnaround time of 1 to 2 weeks. When you order the PXI-6722 with us, you can request basic (unaccredited) in-house calibration that will calibrate the part to the manufacturer specifications prior to being shipped. Call or email us today for more information about calibrating the PXI-6722!
