National Instruments NI-9926 Outdoor Enclosure

The National Instruments NI-9925 (Part Number: 781723-01) Outdoor IP54 Enclosure is intended to offer the cDAQ-9181 and cDAQ-9191 CompactDAQ Chassis strong protection in outdoor or industrial settings. It protects against water and dust infiltration and has an IP54 minimum ingress protection rating.

The comprehensive NI-9925 kit includes essential components for installation and customization. Among these are the Antenna IP Sleeve, 2.4 GHz Antenna, DIN Rail, I/O Cable Clamp Nuts, Gaskets, and Clamps, facilitating secure cable management. Additionally, an Internal Power Cable and M12 Field Termination Power Connector Kit enable customized power configurations, while the Ethernet Connector Kit and Internal RJ45 Ethernet Cable support Ethernet connectivity.

A number 2 Phillips screwdriver and a 0.125 in. flathead screwdriver are needed for installation of the NI-9925. Notably, although it adds further protection to the antenna connector, attaching the antenna is optional for Ethernet-only operation. The M12 power female field termination and Ethernet field termination connection kits that come with the NI-9925 make it easier to create custom cables. It has a two-piece clamp system that includes a grommet and cable clamp, guaranteeing an IP54 minimum certification when the right grommet is used.
