National Instruments cRIO-9082 CompactRIO Controller

Featured with a Spartan-6 LX150 (by Xilinx) FPGA, 2 GB of DRAM, and 32 GB of Internal Storage, the National Instruments cRIO-9082 (Part Numbers: 781787-02, 781787-12, 781787-03) is an 8-Slot, CompactRIO Controller. This model comes with a robust configuration and broad connectivity options. Thus, this model can be considered for most critical and complicated industrial applications. The cRIO 9082 does not have a fan, yet it can be operated over a broad operating temperature range i.e.  -40 °C to 70 °C.

This Controller comes equipped with an Intel Core i7-660UE processer with 2 cores, 1.33 GHz (dual-core frequency), 2.4 GHz (single-core frequency in Turbo-mode), 4 MB (shared) On-die L3 cache, and 256 KB/core On-die L2 cache. With this model, the user can enjoy an external monitor for display with the use of the 1600 × 1200 resolution Video Port (VGA). Accessing configuration files located at the internal storage of the NI cRIO-9082 can easily be accomplished with the help of USB thumb drives, since this device comes with 4 USB ports. These standard USB ports also support various kinds of USB devices, such as keyboards, cameras, and a mouse.

 The reconfigurable FPGA used in this module offers 4,824 kbit of block RAM, 3 DMA channels, 180 DSP slices, 184,304 flip-flops, and 92,152 (6-Input) LUTs. The NI cRIO 9082 has an internal real-time clock as well, which offers 200 ppm accuracy. This Controller consumes 75 watts of power (maximum). The designed voltage input range is 9 V to 30 V. Users can utilize redundant power supplies or sources with the cRIO-9082 also.
