National Instruments 784364-01  Transceiver Adapter Module for FlexRIO

Part Number 784364-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments NI-5782 Transceiver Adapter Module for FlexRIO. The 784364-01 features four single-ended analog input channels that are simultaneously sampled. The connector type used for analog inputs is HDBNC and the input impedance is 50 Ω. The input channels are DC-coupled and the ADC has a resolution of 16 bits and can be identified as AD9653. Furthermore, the sample rate of the internal sample clock is 100 MHz while the sample rate of the external clock is 60 MHz to 100 MHz. 

On the other hand, the 784364-01 also features four single-ended analog output channels and uses the same type of connector. It uses a 16-bit DAC that is identified with a part number DAC3484. The minimum analog input to analog output response times is 1130 ns, 720 ns, and 550 ns when the sample rates are 100 MS/s, 200 MS/s, and 400 MS/s respectively. The 784364-01 also has 12 bidirectional channels (8 DIO and 4 PFI) using an HDMI connector and the 3.3 V LVCMOS interface standard. The recommended operating voltage in these channels is -0.3 V to 3.6 V and the overvoltage protection is ±10 V. Likewise, the maximum toggle frequency is 100 MHz. Furthermore, there is a CLK/REF IN channel that has a sample clock input voltage range of  0.4 Vpk-pk to 5.2 Vpk-pk and a duty cycle of 45% to 55%. Note that this channel is AC-coupled and uses the same connector as the analog channels. 

The 784364-01 measures 5.1 x 0.8 x 4.7 in. in physical dimensions and weighs 420 g. The total power consumed by the module is 4.6  W. The module is recommended for operation between temperatures of  0 °C to 55 °C at a relative humidity of 10% to 90%. Likewise, it is designed for indoor use only and should be operated within a maximum altitude of 2000 m. On the other hand, it can be stored between  -20 °C to 70 °C at a relative humidity of 5% to 95%.
