National Instruments PCMCIA-5102 Digitizer

The PCMCIA-5102 is a dual-channel Digitizer. The NI PCMCIA-5102 is produced by National Instruments. The NI PCMCIA-5102 is a Type II PCMCIA card. The PCMCIA-5102 is manufactured with two single-ended analog input channels with substantial functionalities. This Digitizer can be utilized with NI-DAQ and NI-SCOPE driver software. The PCMCIA-5102 can be accessed with the application software of LabVIEW, LabWindows, Visual Basic, and Measurement Studio. The PCMCIA-5102 functions on Windows operating systems.

The NI PCMCIA-5102 is featured with channels that have a bandwidth of 15 MHz per channel. The PCMCIA-5102 can provide a voltage range of ± 50 mV to ± 5 V by using an input software selectable attenuation option. This Digitizer has software-selectable AC and DC input coupling. The PCMCIA-5102 is built with an onboard memory size of 663,000 samples. The National Instruments PCMCIA-5102 provides data access to the onboard memory before transferring to the host computer memory.

The NI PCMCIA-5102 is developed with multiple triggering capabilities like hysteresis values, bi-level triggering for input channels, trigger hold-off, and programmable trigger thresholds. This Digitizer is fabricated with two digital TTL/CMOS triggers to synchronize various modules. The PCMCIA-5102 has an 8-bit resolution analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The NI PCMCIA-5102 has a recommended 15 minute warm-up time before use. This Digitizer should be externally calibrated every year and internally calibrated each time the environmental conditions change.

PCMCIA-5102 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Digitizer will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
