National Instruments SCC-AO10 Isolated Analog Output Module

The SCC-AO10 (Part Number: 777459-50) is a reliable Isolated Analog Output Module from National Instruments. This module offers a wide range of output voltage up to ± 10 volts. This module allows the user to control the output voltage level through an E/M Series DAQ device, by utilizing a DAC output of the DAQ device. The two NI SCC-AO10 modules can connect and operate together, which allows for operational flexibility and enhanced capabilities. Additionally, the user can increase the output voltage level up to ± 20 volts.

The National Instruments SCC-AO10 Isolated Analog Output Module permits the user to complete measurements for scaling voltages. The module comes with the capability to be referenced with its own isolated ground. The module allows for the voltage level of 60 VDC for the common mode of operation of the module, which is measured between itself and ground channel or chassis ground. It also incorporates the capabilities to rectify gain and offset errors. In addition, it is recommended to warm up the DAQ device for 30 minutes before starting the calibration procedure. This ensures the user will receive accurate measurement levels at the output.

The National Instruments SCC-AO10 module has a current drive value of ± 30 mA. The nonlinearity of the gain at a full-scale output range is 0.5 %. There are also low RMS values for the output noise. The typical value is 2.5 mV and the maximum value is 4 mV. The NI SCC-AO10 Isolated Analog Output Module also has a helpful short circuit protection mechanism, which enables the user to protect the module for the maximum value of the current (37 mA) for an unlimited duration.
