National Instruments USRP-2900 Software Defined Radio Device

The USRP-2900 is a USRP Software Defined Radio Device. The NI USRP-2900 device is manufactured by National Instruments. The USRP-2900 is made by National Instruments with part number 784039-01. The NI USRP-2900 supports USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 connectivity. The USRP-2900 device is particularly developed for various portable applications to serve communication purposes; therefore, it is offered with a bus-powered USB connection. The applications of the USRP-2900 device include, but are not limited to, broadcast frequency modulation (FM) systems, global positioning systems (GPS), sensor networks, and common commercial safety systems.

The NI USRP-2900 device is a transceiver which can be tuned as per requirements for a wide range of operations. The USRP-2900 USRP Software Defined Radio Device comes with the NI-USRP software tool through which this device can be tuned for full-duplex operation. The NI USRP-2900 contains 1 input and 1 output channel. The USRP-2900 is compatible with the radio frequency (RF) in the range of 70 MHz to 6 GHz. The maximum input power of the receiver is -15 dBm and the maximum output power of the transmitter is 20 dBm. The NI USRP-2900 transceiver shows a frequency accuracy of 2.5 ppm in either mode of the transceiver; these modes are transmission and receiving. The instantaneous bandwidth of the USRP-2900 transceiver is 56 MHz. The NI USRP-2900 transceiver features an analog to digital (ADC) and digital to analog (DAC) resolution of 12 bits. 

The USRP-2900 transceiver is designed according to the safety standards IEC 61010-1, EN 61010-1. The NI USRP-2900 transceiver requires up to 4.5 W power for operation and is compatible with a 6 V, 3 A external power supply.
