Tektronix 465B Dual Channel Oscilloscope
The Tektronix 465B is an analog oscilloscope, specifically designed for the purpose of professional electronic testing and diagnostics. It is an all-in-one solution that comes equipped with a mainframe and a pair of matched probes (i.e., P6105) with 10x attenuation, so you can begin inspecting your signals immediately upon unpackaging. The key performance characteristics of this oscilloscope are a high-bandwidth of 100 MHz and vertical sensitivity adjustable from 5 millivolts/division; thus, you will be able to measure any level of signal from very low signal to high amplitude voltage swings at the same time with great accuracy.
The Tektronix 465B is used by many different industries, such as industrial automation, telecommunication repair and engineering inorder to perform critical functions such as troubleshooting circuit boards, analyzing waveforms for quality, verifying timing of digital systems, etc. One of the most important upgrades to this product is the optional DM44 Digital Multimeter module, which allows you to get a digital reading directly from the unit. The DM44 allows you to take readings of DC voltage, resistance and temperature, but what is unique about this module is that it also calculates time differences or frequency between any two points on the graticule, thereby greatly reducing time spent taking differential time measurements.
The Tektronix 465B has several other advanced features as well. These features include the ability to selectively couple the trigger input to allow isolation of signal components, a delayed sweep function to allow detailed analysis of specific waveform segments, and a flexible horizontal system that includes a x10 magnifier for fast sweep speeds. Additionally, due to the need to use this device globally, Tektronix has built into this product's design the ability to operate under a variety of AC line voltages and frequencies. As a result, the Tektronix 465B is recognized for its ruggedness and the clarity of its CRT display, making it a highly respected tool for accurately analyzing signals in both field service and laboratory settings.
