Tektronix TBS1052B Digital Oscilloscope
The Tektronix TBS1052B is a digital oscilloscope that is intended to show and measure electrical waveforms in real time. It has a 50 MHz bandwidth and it is capable of accurate signal analysis by its 2-channel set up. The unit has a 1 GSa/s sampling rate which records quick and brief events with reliable accuracy. The unit has a 7 inch WVGA color display which ensures that it has a clear view of the waveforms in various light conditions. The system offers 34 automatic measurements which can be used in order to carry out systematic and consistent test procedures in line of detailed test analysis.
The dual window FFT feature of the oscilloscope provides an opportunity to evaluate time and frequency domain to provide an enhanced evaluation. The Trend-Plot feature helps to trace slow changes in signals over a long period of operation of the device. The auto set option selects appropriate parameters on the signal and reduces the time required to prepare the signal to be replicated when necessary. An inbuilt zoom mechanism provides a chance to closely examine the waveforms. The TBS1052B oscilloscope has an 8-bit vertical resolution on which fine amplitude data are retained in capturing. The sensitivity range is 2 mV per division to 5 V per division and it is capable of being adjusted properly. The DC gain accuracy is maintained at three percent when the settings range between 10 mV and 5 V. The instrument can take in up to 300 VRMS CAT II with a set de rating factor of more than 100 kHz.
The offset range reaches 1.8 V for lower scale selections used with sensitive signals. Higher scales offer a 45 volt offset range that supports a broader group of measurements requiring added flexibility. A selectable 20 MHz bandwidth limit assists in suppressing high frequency noise for specific applications that demand cleaner traces. The TBS1052B digital oscilloscope uses a time base that can be set anywhere between 2.5 nanoseconds per division and 50 seconds per division. A base accuracy of 50 ppm supports stable timing performance that is critical during comparison and alignment procedures. The Tektronix TBS1052B oscilloscope unit weighs only 2 kg which makes movement across laboratory work areas easy. Its display resolution of 800 by 480 presents clear waveform detail that supports reliable interpretation during technical work.
