TDK Lambda GEN300-5 Programmable DC Power Supply
The TDK Lambda GEN300-5 DC power supply delivers a rated DC output of 300 V at 5 A with a maximum continuous power of 1500 W. The model supports an adjustable output range from 0 to 300 Vdc and 0 to 5 A. An 88% typical conversion efficiency makes it well suited for sustained, high-demand industrial applications.
The GEN300-5 power supply operates on a wide-range single-phase AC input from 85 to 265 Vac at frequencies of 47 to 63 Hz. An integrated active power factor correction maintains a 0.99 power factor at 100 VAC and 200 VAC under rated load. At full 1500 W output, the unit draws 21 A at 100 Vac input and 11 A at 200 Vac input. The model meets EN61000-3-2 Class A and EN61000-3-3 compliance from 20% to 100% of rated output power.
The front panel of the GEN300-5 power supply provides separate coarse and fine encoders for independent voltage and current adjustment. The overvoltage protection and undervoltage lockout thresholds are individually configurable through the dedicated front panel voltage encoder. The foldback control for CV to CC transitions is supported alongside configurable auto and safe restart modes. The RS-232/RS-485 and IEEE 488.2 interface selection is made via the IEEE enable switch and DIP switch.
The GEN300-5 is equipped with dual 4-digit readouts for continuous monitoring of output voltage and current. The voltage display accuracy is 0.05% plus or minus one count for precise readback throughout the full output range. The current readout accuracy is specified at 0.2% plus or minus one count across the programmed operating range. The status indicators cover voltage, current, alarm, foldback, local mode, output on, and front panel lock conditions.
The GEN300-5 Programmable DC Power Supply supports up to 31 network addresses configurable via the front panel voltage or current encoder. The serial baud rate selection covers five speeds: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, and 19,200 for RS-232/RS-485 communication. The rear panel of the model has a DB25 female connector for non-isolated analog programming and monitoring. The rear DIP switches set the analog programming range to 0 – 5 V or 0 – 10 V for external control compatibility.
