The TDK Lambda FPS-T1U is a power supply shelf rack built for industrial automation applications. The shelf accommodates multiple power modules within a single rack space efficiently. Engineers select this model for centralized power distribution in control systems.
The shelf rack mounts directly into standard 19-inch rack enclosures. Its three slot frame holds individual power supply modules arranged side by side. This compact layout suits control cabinets that have limited available mounting space. The design simplifies integration into existing industrial automation racks and control cabinets.
The FPS-T1U shelf rack features three rear-mounted AC power inputs for flexible source connections. Each AC input uses an IEC320-C14 connector for standard power cords. These three independent inputs allow separate power sources for each module. This arrangement supports redundant power configurations across the entire shelf rack system. The model supports triple output operation across its three available module slots simultaneously. Each output operates independently and delivers power to a separate connected load. This triple output configuration allows technicians to power multiple subsystems together. The model reduces the need for separate standalone power supplies.
The FPS-T1U Power Supply Shelf Rack includes two blank panels for any unused module slots. These panels cover empty positions and maintain a clean, finished appearance. The blank panels also help maintain consistent airflow through the chassis interior. Technicians can remove these panels when installing additional power modules later on.
The FPS-T1U Power Supply Shelf Rack chassis uses a sturdy metal construction for long-term durability. This metal frame supports the combined weight of three installed power modules. The enclosure design provides shielding against electrical noise and external interference sources. Mounting brackets allow secure attachment to standard 19-inch rack mounting rails. Before installing the rack, disconnect all connected AC power sources first. Confirm that the rack location provides sufficient structural support for the unit. Check that each AC input matches the voltage rating of its connected module. Incorrect wiring may cause permanent damage to the unit or its modules. Maintain clear space around the chassis to allow proper heat dissipation. Avoid placing any objects that could block ventilation openings on the chassis.
