TDK-Lambda LS200-24 Single Output General Purpose Power Supply
The TDK Lambda LS200-24 is a single-output general-purpose power supply built for industrial automation systems. This power supply accepts single-phase AC input voltage ranging from 85 to 264 VAC. The model also supports DC input operation between 120 and 373 VDC for added flexibility.
The LS200-24 achieves a typical operating efficiency of 84 percent under normal load conditions. The power supply unit measures 98 mm in width and 41 mm in height. Its overall depth measures 199 mm with a total unit weight of 700 grams. The power supply delivers a rated DC output voltage of 24 VDC to connected loads. Its output voltage range extends from 22 VDC to 28.8 VDC depending on load conditions.
The LS200-24 AC/DC power supply provides a maximum continuous output current rating of 8.4 A for the load. It reaches a maximum output power rating of 201.6W under rated load conditions. This power supply is offered as a low-cost solution for general industrial applications. It withstands AC input surges of up to 300 Vac without sustaining damage. It also maintains conservative electrolytic capacitor operating temperatures to help extend operational life.
The LS200-24 general-purpose power supply includes built-in overtemperature protection circuitry to prevent internal thermal damage. This power supply does not include a remote sense feature in its design. A green LED indicator on the model confirms when the DC output is okay. Parallel operation of multiple LS200-24 units together is not possible with this design. The remote on/off control for the model is available through connector CN2. Applying a voltage between 3 and 12 VDC on CN2 turns the output power off.
The LS200-24 Single-Output General-Purpose Power Supply operates across an ambient temperature range of -25 to 70 degrees Celsius. The startup at -25 degrees Celsius is supported with appropriate derating per the installation manual. The storage temperature for this power supply ranges from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius.
