TDK Lambda ZUP20-20 Zero Up Programmable Power Supply
The TDK Lambda ZUP20-20 is a programmable DC power supply designed for precision industrial automation applications. It operates within a voltage range of 0 to 20 V and supports a maximum current output of 20 A. The model delivers a maximum power of 400 W and supports constant voltage and constant current modes. An embedded microprocessor controller enables accurate and repeatable output programming across all operating conditions. The power supply accepts an input voltage range of 85 to 265 VAC at frequencies between 47 and 63Hz. This wide input range makes the unit suitable for deployment in varied global power infrastructure environments. The power factor correction complies with EN61000-3 Class A with a typical power factor value of 0.99. The unit achieves an efficiency of 79 % at 100 VAC and 83 % at 200 VAC under rated load.
The voltage programming resolution for the programmable power supply is better than 0.028 % of the rated voltage. The voltage programming accuracy is specified at 0.02 % plus 12 mV across the full 0 to 20 V output range. The current programming resolution is better than 0.03 % of the rated current with an accuracy of 0.4 % plus 40 mA. The outputs are programmable via an external voltage of 0 to 4 V or resistance of 0 to 4 kΩ.
The ZUP20-20 Zero Up Programmable Power Supply includes built in RS232 and RS485 communication interfaces as standard onboard features. The unit supports series configuration up to two units and parallel operation up to five units. The overvoltage shutdown range spans 0 to 24 V providing protection against output voltage excursions beyond rated limits. The remote sense functionality compensates for up to 0.5 V of cable voltage drop per output line. The power supply retains the last programmed settings in memory to ensure continuity after power cycling. It operates within a temperature range of 0 °C to 50 °C and stores between – 20 °C and + 70 °C. The ZUP20-20 is available for both bench mount and rack mount installation with a weight of 3.2 kg.
