TDK Lambda ZUP36-24 Zero Up Programmable DC Power Supply
The TDK Lambda ZUP36-24 programmable DC power supply delivers a rated output voltage of 36 Vdc with a rated output current of 24 A. The model supports full output programmability that allows voltage adjustment from 0 to 36 Vdc and current from 0 to 24 A. The voltage and current programming can be performed via analog voltage (0 – 4 V) or resistance (0 – 4 kΩ) inputs. The remote sense capability compensates for up to 0.5 V of voltage drop per output cable. This ensures accurate voltage delivery directly at the load regardless of cable resistance.
The ZUP36-24 is housed in a 3U rack mount and bench top compatible enclosure measuring 140 mm (W) × 124 mm (H) × 350 mm (D). It weighs approximately 5800 g and includes an IEC320 power cable with USA plug. The unit operates across a wide AC input voltage range of 85 to 265 Vac at frequencies between 47 and 63 Hz. The power supply offers reliable and stable power conversion with a rated output power of 864 W and typical efficiency of 84 %. The Zero Up Programmable DC Power Supply features built in RS-232 and RS-485 communication interfaces for remote monitoring and control. Up to two units can be connected in series while up to five units can be configured in parallel master slave operation. An open collector Output Good signal and TTL compatible Remote On/Off input are included for system level integration. The front panel displays three digit readouts for voltage and current with corresponding accuracy ratings.
An internal fan provides active cooling to maintain stable operation within ambient temperatures of 0 °C to 50 °C. The storage temperatures range from – 20 °C to + 70 °C. The power supply also supports operation in non condensing humidity conditions up to 90 % RH. It is vibration rated for 10 – 55 Hz at 2G constant across all three axes when correctly mounted. The shock resistance is specified at less than 20 G. The Isolation resistance for the ZUP36-24 exceeds 100 MΩ at 25 °C and 70 % relative humidity.
