Aeroflex 3025C PXI Digital RF Signal Generator
Aeroflex’s 3025C is a 3U PXI digital RF signal generator that is built on a high precision architecture. With a frequency range of 1MHz – 6GHz, it can generate RF test signals at various levels of complexity across this broad band. Signal strength ranges from -120dBm to +6 dBm. A critical aspect of the 3025C’s design is the use of two channels within an AWG (Arbitrary Waveform Generator). The AWG has 2 GB of memory available, allowing for the recording and replaying of either single or multiple long waveforms used in advanced test procedures.
The 3025C was specifically created for Automated Test Systems (ATS) used in Research & Development, High Volume Manufacturing and Testing in various wireless technologies including WLAN, WiMAX, Cellular Technologies (W-CDMA and LTE). The 3025C can produce a variety of Analog, Digital and Vector Modulation Signals with a Bandwidth up to 90 MHz. The device provides a means for manufacturers to verify their products meet today’s wireless technology standards. The 3025C can stream IQ Data in Real-Time and comes with additional options for analog IQ Inputs/Outputs for RF IC and Modulator Testing.
Use of the PXI Studio Application Software and the IQ Creator Waveform Creation Tool will greatly assist users with creating compliant Standard and Custom Modulation Formats. The List Mode function of the 3025C is a defining feature that allows users to rapidly switch between different Frequency settings, Power Levels and Waveforms; a significant factor in reducing test time when operating in Production Environments. Combining the 3025C with a Companion 3010/3011 Series RF Synthesizer Module will provide Low Phase Noise and Fast Frequency Settling capabilities, resulting in Reliable and Repeatable Measurements for Wireless Communications System Validation and Component Characterization.
