Anritsu MP1775A Pulse Pattern Generator
The Anritsu MP1775A Pulse Pattern Generator has 4 channels of parallel data output lines. Every channel has the capacity of generating a signal up to 12.5 Gbps. Synchronous BER testing and examination of up to 4 channels is possible when used with the MP1776A 4-Channel Error Detector. An autonomous memory limit for every channel empowers the user to program user-defined patterns for certain types of testing. A huge variety of PRBS patterns (inverted and non-inverted) up to 231-1 bits long are accessible as standard. The Anritsu’s MX177601A software is optionally available for use with this model for generating SONET/SDH frames and CID patterns for stress testing clock recovery circuits.
Anritsu's core proficiency and expertise in high speed BER testing and the high execution innovation of the popular single channel 12.5 Gbps BERT framework are built inside this 4-channel Pulse Pattern Generator. Its fantastic data output waveform, low jitter, quick rise time/fall time, autonomous setting of programmable patterns, and 231-1 PRBS patterns for every channel make it a perfect signal source for the assessment and characterization of 10 Gbps WDM equipment, modules, and electrical/optical units.
To secure future investments in 40G development, the MP1775A 4-Channel PPG can be utilized as part of Anritsu’s ME7760B 43.5 BER Test System or ME7780A 48G BER Test System. These 40G frameworks also incorporate a 4-Channel Error Detector, 4x1 and 1x4 Mux/Demux units, and an outside signal source.
