Keysight/Agilent U2353A USB Modular Multifunction Data Acquisition
Keysight's U2353A multi-function data-acquisition module is a USB-based instrument combining sixteen (16)-bit analog inputs, analog outputs, and digital I/O in one. The module has sixteen single-ended or eight differential analog input channels and samples those channels at rates of up to 500 ksps. Programmable input ranges are available for ±10V down to ±1.25V.
Besides operating as a digital multimeter utilizing polling-mode operation, the U2353A can also be used as a simple oscilloscope using continuous acquisition methods and various types of triggers, including pre-trigger, post-trigger, and delay triggers. When housed in a U2781A chassis, the U2353A will utilize external analog/digital triggers and the SSI/Star Trigger Bus for synchronizing multiple modules. A free BenchVue license is included, which makes programming automated testing easy.
The U2353A contains two 16-bit analog output channels that can update at rates of 1 MSa/s, providing user-defined sine, square, triangular, sawtooth, and random waveforms as well as arbitrary signals referenced to internal or external voltages. The output range on these channels can be programmed to provide values between 0 volts and +/-10 volts, as well as use an external reference source. Twenty-four programmable TTL digital I/O lines allow users to interface with switches and relays for remote operation; additionally, there are two counters that can be used to determine frequency/pulses. Burst mode simulates simultaneous analog input sampling.
Terminal blocks (U2901A or U2902A) are available for optional use in order to make connecting cables easier; also, this product complies with the USBTMC-USB488 standard, allowing for easy compatibility with other development tools from Keysight such as VEE, MATLAB, NI LabView, and Visual Studio.
