The analog input section of the model supports programmable bipolar ranges of ± 10 V, ± 5 V, ± 2.5 V, and ± 1.25 V. It also supports unipolar ranges from 0 to 10 V down to 0 to 1.25 V. These selectable ranges help match sensor signals with required resolution across different measurement conditions.
The U2541A module uses DC input coupling for steady signals and low-frequency process measurements. Its 1 GΩ and 100 pF input impedance reduce loading on connected voltage sources. The operational common-mode voltage range reaches ± 8.0 V maximum during supported operating conditions.
The Keysight U2541A 250 kSa/s USB Modular Simultaneous Data Acquisition provides overvoltage protection for input channels during powered and unpowered operation. The power-on protection allows continuous ± 30 V, while the power-off protection allows continuous ± 15 V. This protection supports integration with industrial panels and automated fixtures where wiring conditions vary.
The model uses DC output coupling with 0.1 Ω typical output impedance. Its output section remains stable with any passive load up to 1500 pF. The power-on state holds a 0 V steady state for predictable startup behavior.
