It is the model designed to deal with ultra-wideband, WiMAX, 802.11a, 3G, etc. This instrument is perfect for broadcast proofing of AM and FM because its low phase noise and wide dynamic range make NRSC measurements on IBOC & analog signals hassle free without any need for an external filter or additional hardware resources.
The MS2721B is a compact, simple to use and easy to transport, multifunctional spectrum analyzer with straightforward controls and exceptional measurement/analytical capabilities. This model is an excellent multipurpose instrument for applications and testing purposes with a frequency range up to 7.1 GHz, and equally productive in the field and on the engineering bench. A few of the notable features of the MS2721B Spectrum Analyzer are the -100 dBc/Hz Extremely low phase noise (@ 10 kHz offsets), -163 dBm Typical DANL, 1 Hz to 3 MHz Resolution bandwidth range, and1 Hz to 3 MHz Video bandwidth (VBW) range.
The MS2721B has a huge storage facility, allowing the user to store over 1000 set-ups and measurements on its internal memory. The use of an additional memory module by Anritsu or USB Flash Drives lets you save a boundless number of setups and traces for later use.
