In today’s world, where more 802.11 access points have installed, the challenges related to the interference in 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands occupied by these and other devices are growing increasingly. With its incredible measurement abilities, the MS2724B makes the entire process to determine the level of interference an easy one for an access point installer. The broad frequency coverage offered by this instrument can provide you with the due assistance needed to install and manage wireless networks including 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g
The Spectrum Master MS2724B is designed to choose the fastest possible sweep automatically for precise measurements, while sweep speed can be set from 10 microseconds to 600 s in zero spans. This flexibility and speed is better than most of the portable spectrum analyzers available on the market, and it is something that can simplify the process of capturing the intermittent interfering signals. The highlights of the MS2724B are: the Quasi-peak Detector, CISPR Bandwidths, a port available for an optional GPS Receiver, an Integrated Preamplifier, and Low Phase Noise i.e. at 2 GHz; –104 dBc/Hz (typical) @ 10 kHz offset.
