The SDA-5000 Stealth Digital Analyzer was created by JDSU, Wavetek, and Acterna and is a perfect single box solution for technicians and engineers. This model is durable, can withstand severe weather, and has a minimal weight. This Stealth Digital Analyzer is well-suited for assessing the newest digital services and for the upkeep of the analog spectrum. Several of the most valuable features of the SDA-5000 include: the non-interfering forward RF sweep, automatic/24-hour assessment (FCC and CENELEC compliance), swift spectrum display with CTB/CSO, in-service carrier-to-noise and hum, and numerous others.
The JDSU SDA-5000 permits a single person to complete both forward and reverse path alignment at the same time. The user must designate the screen that should be displayed: the reaction from the headend to the testpoint or the reaction from the testpoint to the headend. This Stealth Digital Analyzer is ideal for the field because it can be customized with numerous options to meet challenging forward and reverse sweep requirements. In addition, the 1118-00-0358 battery life is approximately four hours. However, the 1118-00-0358 battery of the SDA-5000 can be easily swapped while in the field. Another valuable feature of the SDA-5000 in the field is the reverse noise feature. This feature permits reverse path noise testing when the user presses the “noise” softkey during the reverse sweeping function.
The JDSU SDA-5000 Stealth Digital Analyzer provides a drastically quicker forward sweep speed than previous models, specifically in systems containing numerous digital signals. For example, this model can reference 64/256 QAM signal types, which eradicates the worry of subscriber intrusions, or inserting sweep carriers in the guard bands.
