Yokogawa WT230 Digital Power Meter
Featured with a compact (half-rack size) design and 0.1% basic accuracy, the WT230 is a Digital Power Meter from the well-reputed manufacturer Yokogawa. It is an accepted device by SPEC for performance efficiency benchmarking. This model can measure the RMS value of current, voltage, or active power. It measures by applying current and voltage signals to the current and voltage input sections respectively. It can also determine the values of different power elements, such as reactive power, apparent power, phase angle, and power factor.
The Yokogawa WT230 can measure AC / DC voltage, power, and current within the 0.5 Hz to 100 kHz frequency range. To eliminate noise such as distorted waveforms and inverter waveforms, this model comes equipped with two types of filters: line filters and frequency filters. This digital power meter features three 7-segment, red high-intensity type LED displays to display measured values. Thus, the user will view three values simultaneously.
The Yokogawa WT230 is a function-rich instrument. It offers peak measurement function to measure the peak values of the current and voltage. Later, this value is utilized in the determination of the crest factor. The MAX Hold function is another excellent feature that holds the maximum values of the current, voltage, apparent power, active power, current peak, voltage peak, and reactive power. In addition, it also has the harmonic measurement function available. With this model, the user can conduct large-current measurements through an external sensor input. The Yokogawa WT230 is an ideal choice available to let the user obtain measurements with greater precision on high-frequency inverters.
