Keysight/Agilent N2276A Microwave Multiplexer
The N2276A 26.5 GHz Dual 1x6 Microwave Multiplexer by Keysight is a three-slot switching module for high-frequency signal routing. It permits controlled microwave path selection for stable broadband switching. The microwave mux module operates from DC to 26.5 GHz and supports microwave test paths used in RF validation. It provides dual 1 x 6 multiplexer configuration through option 206. The unit can also operate as a dual 1 x 4 microwave multiplexer via option 204 that helps match channel density with the actual test requirement. The N2276A mux unit is designed for quick-setup microwave switching. Its modular format supports integration into 3499A and 3499C switching mainframes.
The module requires firmware version 3.0 or later for operation in supported mainframes. The N2276A mux operates only in SCPI mode when installed in these switching platforms. The microwave multiplexer unit uses SMA connectors on the front panel for high-performance connections. The insertion loss is specified as 0.3 dB plus 0.015 multiplied by frequency in GHz. This value defines expected signal loss across the selected path during functioning. The N2276A dual 1x6 mux module provides strong isolation across unused signal paths. The isolation exceeds 100 dB at 12 GHz and exceeds 80 dB at 15 GHz. At the upper microwave range, the isolation exceeds 70 dB at 26.5 GHz.
