National Instruments 783198-01 DIN Rail Kit For SCB-68-HSDIO

Part Number 783198-01 is the identifying part number for the DIN Rail Kit for the National Instruments SCB-68-HSDIO. The kit contains one clip to mount the NI SCB-68-HSDIO on a 35 mm DIN rail. To achieve this, you must first fasten the DIN rail clip to the enclosure using two flathead #6-32 × 1/4” screws with a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Most importantly, the user must not use the threaded holes on the NI SCB-68 HSDIO for DIN rail mounting more than 5 times. This is because repeatedly unscrewing and reinstalling the DIN rail clip might compromise the connection between the DIN rail clip and the enclosure. 

When setting up SCB-68-HSDIO with the 783198-01, the user must also make sure that the hazardous voltage is not connected. For the connector block, voltages greater than 30 Vrms/42 Vpk/60 VDC are considered to be hazardous. Likewise, for signal connections, it is recommended that you use 50 Ω cables. Furthermore, to ensure EMC performance, signal wires outside of the enclosure must be properly shielded. 

When using the 783198-01 with the SCB-58-HSDIO, the user must be aware of the environmental characteristics required for its proper operation. The ambient operating temperature range is 0 to 70 °C while the storage temperature is -20 to 70 °C. Likewise, you must also maintain a relative humidity of 5 to 90% RH. Furthermore, the maximum altitude where the device can be operated properly is 2000 m. Moreover, the 783198-01is meant for indoor use only.
