This module monitors voltage levels of signals and is compatible with cFP devices. It interfaces with the Compact FieldPoint backplane and provides isolation between modules, protecting the Compact FieldPoint system and controller from high voltages. The NI 777318-01 is primarily used for monitoring limit switches, power circuits, and relay closures. 

It is also compatible with TTL devices. National Instruments cFP-DI-3xx devices are versatile digital input modules for Compact FieldPoint systems. These modules monitor digital signals from low-voltage levels up to 250 V. They are commonly used for monitoring proximity and limit switches, pushbutton switches, thermostat outputs, relay closures, power circuits, and TTL devices. All modules include onboard diagnostics to ensure easy installation and maintenance. Additionally, this module provides continuous isolation of 250 Vrms between its channels and backplane, but the channels are not isolated from each other.
