Part number 781716-01 from National Instruments is the version of the cRIO-9081 CompactRIO Controller with a Intel Celeron U3405 processor that runs a real-time operating system (OS). This processor boasts dual core capabilities and has a CPU frequency of 1.06 GHz. In addition, the 781716-01 features a Xilinx Spartan-6 LX75 reconfigurable FPGA.
The 781716-01 has two Network/Ethernet ports that support various interfaces, all of which are compliant with IEEE 802.3 standards. Additionally, this cRIO controller has two serial ports which offer multiple configurations for the data bits, parity, flow control, and stop bits of the device. The maximum baud rate of the RS-232 Serial Port is 115,200 bps, while the max rate for the RS-485/422 (DTE) Serial Port is 230,400 bps.
The MXI-Express Port of the 781716-01 has a cabling distance up to 7 meters long, and it offers a communication rate of 2.5 Gbps.
