National Instruments sbRIO-9629 CompactRIO Single-Board Controller

Featured with 2 GB RAM and a 1.91 GHz Quad-Core processor, the NI sbRIO-9629 (Part Numbers: 787298-01 and 787298-02) is a Single-Board Controller for CompactRIO systems. In addition to a powerful CPU, this Controller has a user-configurable FPGA. The sbRIO-9629 is specially designed for high-volume OEM applications. The NI sbRIO-9629 comes equipped with 2 Gigabit Ethernet connectors, 2 RS-232 serial communication ports, and 1 RS-485 serial communication port.

The FPGA incorporated in this CompactRIO Single-Board Controller has 126,800 flip-flops, 63,400 6-input LUTs, and 4,860 kbits of available block RAM. The two RS-232 ports can handle up to 921,600 b/s maximum baud rates. The RS-485 serial port also supports up to 921,600 b/s baud rate. The NI sbRIO-9629 has two C Series interfaces as well. Thus, you can use your sbRIO-9629 for the controlling of two C Series modules. This device is offered with 4 GB of onboard storage.

This CompactRIO Single-Board Controller features a powerful onboard I/O regime with 16 analog input channels, 4 analog output channels, and 4 (5 V tolerant) digital I/O channels. The RMC connector incorporated in this Controller can bring an extended range of digital I/O, including PCIe x1 and SATA Gen 2. You can achieve extendable onboard storage with this Controller, since it comes equipped with an SD card port. In addition to various onboard peripherals, the NI sbRIO-9629 provides additional peripherals through the RMC connector. The type of RAM installed in this controller is DDR3L.

sbRIO-9629 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
