The NI DAQPad-6052E is designed for FireWire (IEEE 1394) and is a high-performance, jumperless, and switchless DAQ device. The IEEE 1394 bus can handle all resources automatically and has the convenience to install devices without powering off the computers. If you use IEEE 1394, you can connect 64 National Instruments DAQ devices in a single computer.
The DAQPad-6052E is a programmable device, which can be used with the applications development environment (ADE) by National Instruments. The National Instruments ADE’s library includes Measurement Studio that comes with a variety of applications such as LabVIEW, CVI, Visual C++, data acquisition, and easy I/O libraries.
This Multifunction I/O Device offers a sampling rate up to 33 3kS/s. The NI DAQPad-6052E consists of 16 single ended channels. These channels are programmable and can be selected as 8 differential input channels as well. The device has a FIFO buffer size of 512 samples. The device additionally comes with software selectable gain options of 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100.
