National Instruments FP-AO-V5B Analog Voltage Output Module

The FP-AO-V5B is produced with analog output voltage features. The FP-AO-V5B is created by National Instruments. The FP-AO-V5B can be purchased with the part number 778070-05. The NI FP-AO-V5B is manufactured with ±5 V. The FP-AO-V5B is a part of the FieldPoint serial products of terminal blocks designed by National Instruments. This module is equipped with dual output channels, which each contain a resolution of 12-bits.

This Analog Voltage Output Module is available for use with the FP series of terminal blocks manufactured by National Instruments. These FieldPoint terminal blocks are built with universal core terminals to support FieldPoint modules. These FP blocks are compatible with the field wiring with 24 to 12 AWG diameter. The field wiring is required for connections of spring and screw terminals.

The NI FP-AO-V5B has an internal power supply to drive loads to 20 mA of current. This module’s channels are built with an output impedance of 10 Ω each. The FP-AO-V5B is available with the ability to add 10 mV of error for every milliampere the channel provides. This Analog Voltage Output Module contains a single reference point that is shared between the two channels. For channel-to-channel isolation applications, the user should utilize a single channel from every module. The power required to operate the FP-AO-V5B is about 1100 mW maximum. The NI FP-AO-V5B is operated with a scanning time of 1.5 ms. The FP-AO-V5B must function in an operating temperature range between -40 to 70 °C.
