The NI-3110 (Part Number: 780310-01) by National Instruments is a durable, Industrial Controller without a fan, which offers a variety of expansion possibilities to other National Instruments platforms. This model features a 1.66 GHz Dual Core Intel Processer. The NI-3110 is offered with 80 GB SATA hard-disk drive and 1 GB DDR2 memory.

This Industrial Controller is offered in a panel mount form factor and can be used for the deployment of any NI LabVIEW software in many different applications. The National Instruments NI 3110 comes with a comprehensive range of connectivity options, including: four Hi-Speed USB Ports, two Gigabit Ethernet Ports, one MXI Express Connector, one PCI Slot, and one RS232 Serial Port. Moreover, one DVI port is provided for video output. These connectivity features provide expansion to NI CompactDAQ, PXI, USB data acquisition (DAQ), Compact FieldPoint, CompactRIO, etc.

If required, video output can also be received on two monitors through a special splitter. In standard operating conditions and with no PCI board installed, the NI-3110 consumes 40 Watts of maximum power and should be operated in a temperature range between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius.

For data storage and retrieval features, this model supports USB storage devices, such as mass storage devices and USB floppy or CD-ROM devices. In addition, a compact flash slot is provided on this Industrial Controller. The NI 3110 can boot from various devices in addition to its internal hard drive. The user can easily access and reconfigure the boot priority of the NI-3110 by accessing the BIOS setup.
