National Instruments PXI-6233 PXI Multifunction I/O Module

The National Instruments PXI-6233 (Part Number: 779620-01) is a 16 AI, 2 AO, 4 Sinking DO, Bank-Isolated, 6 DI PXI Multifunction I/O Module. This model offers digital input, analog I/O, sinking digital output, digital triggering, and two 32-bit counters. This model supports various analog input ground-reference settings including DIFF, RSE, and NRSE. While operating in DIFF mode, the PXI-6233 measures the voltage difference between two AI signals. In RSE mode, this device measures the relative voltage between an AI signal and an AI GND, which is isolated from chassis ground. Lastly, while operating in NRSE mode, the PXI-6233 functions the same as in RSE mode.

The analog input on this device supports three different triggering actions: pause trigger, start trigger, and reference trigger. This PXI Multifunction I/O Module comes equipped with an integrated, flexible timing engine. The NI PXI-6233 has 10 programmable function interface (PFI) signals, consisting of six input and four output signals. Each of these PFI signals can be configured as a static digital input or a timing input signal to be used for counter/timer functions. Moreover, with this device, the user can route various types of timing signals to any of the PFI <6...9> terminals.

The National Instruments PXI-6233 offers protection against undervoltage and overvoltage conditions for each DI, DO, and PFI signal. In addition, the programmable power-up state functionality allows the user to configure the digital output lines to power up as 0 or 1. This module can easily be installed in almost any PXI Chassis.
