The part number 779470-01 from National Instruments is the identifying part number for the PXI-1056 PXI Chassis. This PXI chassis features input voltage range of 100–240 VAC and operates at voltage of 90–264 VAC and supports a frequency range of 50 to 60 Hz. Its input current rating is 10–5 A featuring over current protection that is 12 A circuit breaker, thus preventing potential damage to the PXI chassis by tripping the circuit breaker.
This module also provide excellent DC output capabilities, ensuring a reliable supply of power giving out 40 Amps at +3.3 Volts, 59 Amps at +5 Volts, 9 Amps at +12 Volts and 4.5 Amps at -12 volts. The 779470-01 PXI Chassis combines a high-performance 18-slot PXI backplane with a high-output power supply and a structural design that has been optimized for maximum usability in a wide range of applications. The chassis’ modular design ensures the highest level of maintainability resulting in a very low mean time to repair (MTTR). The Chassis physical dimensions are 177.8 mm x 431.8 mm x 457.2 mm and weighs 11 kg (24.3 lbs). For internal cooling, the 779470-01 PXI Chassis features forced air circulation (positive pressurization) through one 220 cfm fan with HIGH/AUTO speed selector.
This PXI module is designed to operate at ambient temperature of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius with storage temperature of -40 to 71 degrees Celsius. Its relative operating humidity is 10 to 90%, non condensing while its relative storage humidity is 5% to 95%, non conducting. It is manufactured with operational shocks of 30 g peak, half sine, 11 ms pulse with nonoperational shocks of 30 g, half sine, 11 ms pulse. Its random operational vibrations are 5 to 500 Hz, 0.31 gRMS and non operational of 5 to 500 Hz, 2.46 gRMS. It is designed to be used for indoors only and can be mounted at maximum altitude of 2000 meters with a pollution degree of 2.
