For video input connections, the controller features a DVI-I connector that has a 24-pin DSUB configuration. A 9-pin DSUB connector enables connection to the Serial I/O interface, while an RJ45 port makes 10/100/1000 Ethernet connections possible. The four USB ports on the front panel of the 779886-33 provide the controller with Hi-Speed USB capabilities through the use of USB 4-pin Series A stacked receptacles.

In addition, PXI triggers can be routed either to or from the trigger bus of the backplane using the SMB trigger connector.
