National Instruments PXIe-2746 PXI RF Multiplexer Switch Module

The National Instruments PXIe-2746 (Part Number: 780587-46) is a 4-bank, 4-channel RF Multiplexer Switch Module that is suitable for high-channel-count measurement applications. This module is also used in applications that generate a signal to various test points on devices or units under test (DUTs or UUTs). This Multiplexer Switch Module features electromechanical and FET relay options and advanced features, such as hardware triggering that allow users to tackle complicated applications in consumer electronics, aerospace, and defense industries.

The NI PXIe-2746 is ideal for routing RF signals with bandwidth up to 2.7 GHz in production test applications. The PXIe-2746 has a high channel count that makes it ideal for test systems that require switching many RF signals, such as switching multiple devices under test to one channel on the RF analyzer. This module features onboard relay count tracking and possesses the capability to save RF path calibration details in NI Switch Executive.

All input characteristics of NI PXIe-2746 are DC, AC, or a combination of both. The maximum switching voltage is 30 V, maximum RF power is 10 W, while the maximum switching current and maximum carry current per channel are both 0.5 A. The power requirement for this module is 3.96 W at 3.3 V, 0.2 W at 12 V.

In an operating environment, the PXIe-2746 module should have a temperature ranging from 0 ⁰ C to 55 ⁰ C, with a relative humidity range of 5% to 95% (noncondensing). The random vibration while operating/non-operating should be between 5 Hz and 500 Hz, 0.3 g_rms and 5 Hz and 500 Hz, 2.4 g_rms.
