TDK Lambda GEN30-50 Programmable DC Power Supply
The TDK Lambda GEN30-50 is a programmable DC power supply engineered for industrial automation and process control. It delivers a rated output voltage of 30 V with a rated output current of 50 A. The model produces a total rated output power of 1500 W, achieving an efficiency of 83% at 100 Vac input. The efficiency improves to 86% at 200 Vac input.
The voltage programming response times are clearly and comprehensively defined for the TDK Lambda DC power supply across all load conditions. The up programming response time from 0 V to rated output is 80 mS under a resistive load. The down programming response time is 50 ms at full load and 900 ms at no load. The transient response time is less than 1 mSec for fast recovery from sudden load transitions in CV mode.
The analog voltage output programming is available in the GEN30-50 Programmable DC Power Supply over 0 - 5 V or 0 - 10 V with ± 0.5% accuracy of rated Vout. The current programming via voltage input provides ± 1% accuracy, while resistor-based current programming provides ± 1.5% accuracy of rated Iout. The power supply maintains a maximum line and load regulation of 5 mV in constant voltage mode. The peak-to-peak ripple and noise at 20 MHz is 50 mV, while the RMS ripple from 5 Hz to 1 MHz is 6 mV. The temperature coefficient of the model is 50PPM/°C of rated output voltage for stable operation across thermal variations. The remote sense compensation per line is rated at 1.5 V, which enables precise voltage control at the load terminals.
The TDK Lambda DC power supply achieves a maximum line regulation of 4.5 mA in constant current mode. The maximum load regulation for the model is 10 mA, and the RMS ripple from 5 Hz to 1 MHz is 45 mA. The OCP range is adjustable from 0 to 105% of rated output current in constant current mode. The OCP foldback initiates output shutdown when the supply transitions from CV to CC and is user-selectable.
