National Instruments 781012-02 PXI Digital Waveform Instrument

The 781012-02 from National Instruments is the identifying part number for the version of the PXIe-6548 PXI Digital Waveform Instrument that has 8 Mbit of onboard memory per channel. Designed with a maximum sample rate of 200 MHz, the instrument is able to handle some of the most demanding requirements in test and measurement applications. For reliable flexibility and precision with waveform generation and analysis, the 781012-02 is an excellent addition to any test setup! 

With 32 total channels, the 781012-02 provides versatile measurement capabilities by equally dividing the channels into 16 generation channels and 16 acquisition channels. Each channel has 8 mbit of memory, resulting in a total of 32 MBytes for both groups of generation and acquisition.

Boasting advanced memory and scripting capabilities, the 781012-02 allows users to easily create and execute waveform sequences of varying complexities. In addition, application development is a breeze with the instrument’s ability to seamlessly integrate with a variety of software environments. These environments include, but are not limited to; LabVIEW, Measurement Studio, and LabWindows/CVI. 

Connectivity with the 781012-02 is made easy with the SMA jack, VHDCI, and PXI_TRIG connectors that are conveniently located on it’s I/O panel. The device has a single 3U, CompactPCI Express slot form factor- and it is compatible with PXIe modules and devices. The 781012-02 measures 21.6 cm × 2.0 cm × 13.0 cm and weighs 519 g (18.3 oz). It operates most effectively within a temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C, and can be safely stored within a temperature range of -20 °C to 70 °C.
