Flexible functionality enables the device to meet specific application requirements and mimic fixed I/O devices. For instance, you can configure it for three 32-bit quadrature encoders in one application and reconfigure it for eight 16-bit event counters in another. Physically, this Multifunction I/O device measures 17 cm by 11 cm (excluding connectors) and weighs approximately 112 g.
