The National Instruments 785343-01 or RMX-10051 Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is a versatile device designed for distributing power efficiently in test rack systems, such as PXI Chassis, RAID storage, or human-machine interfaces. This unit supports sequential power startup which ensures that the connected devices power on in a controlled and staggered manner. This prevents power surges and protects sensitive equipment. It also integrates a built in Emergency Power Off (EPO) feature that allows users to safely shut down the power in emergency situations. This adds an essential layer of safety for critical operations.

The 785343-01 mode can handle a frequency of 50 Hz to 60 Hz and operates on an input voltage range of 200 V to 208 V. It includes built in circuit breakers which protect both the PDU and the connected equipment from overcurrent conditions adding durability and safety to the overall system.
