The SC-2071 is a general-purpose Termination Breadboard. The SC-2071 is designed by National Instruments. The NI SC-2071 is associated with the family of SC-207x Boards. The SC-2071 functions in conjunction with NI DAQ boards. The SC-2071 is manufactured for operation with multiple computer series, such as Macintosh II computers, IBM PC/XT/AT, and Personal System/2 computers. The SC-2071 contains a dedicated section for building analog, digital, as well as timing circuits.

The NI SC-2071 is built as a general-purpose printed circuit board (PCB). The SC-2071 board has two 50-pin I/O connectors. This board is compatible with the 50-conductor NB1 cable and thePR50-50F cable, depending on which DAQ device it is being connected to. This Termination Breadboard can combine multiple analog input signals, including thermocouple compensation, splitters, as well as filters at a single place. The National Instruments SC-2071 board is configured to provide a maximum of seven thermocouple connections.

The NI SC-2071 board is developed for use with the Lab/1200 Series DAQ devices (PC/XT/AT and Macintosh). The SC-2071 is equipped with eight signal-labeled screw terminals for connecting to these DAQ boards. This Termination Breadboard contains an onboard temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is designed to control a jumper connection in conjunction with differential CH0 for cold-junction thermocouple adjustment. The National Instruments SC-2071 can be utilized with SC-206X Series digital signal conditioning boards. In this case, an SC-205X Series cable adapter board must also be utilized.

SC-2071 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the breadboard will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
