National Instruments SCC-LP01 Lowpass Filter Module

The SCC-LP01 (Part Number: 777459-07) is a Lowpass Filter Module created by National Instruments. The instrument comes with two built-in channels. These are differential inputs with the voltage range of ± 10 volts. Each channel of the National Instruments SCC-LP01 Lowpass Filter Module incorporates a fourth order Butterworth filter. This module offers cut-off frequency option capabilities for both channels. The instrument also offers cascading capabilities, which enables the user to fulfill various industrial requirements. These capabilities include an application that requires a low pass filtering mechanism, along with the ability to implement different SSC conditions. The NI device is equipped with one 20-pin right-angle male I/O connector and one 4-pin screw terminal.

The National Instruments SCC-LP01 Lowpass Filter Module includes a differential attenuator, which permits the user to attenuate each signal by a factor of two. The output of this amplifier is fed to a Butterworth filter circuit. This allows the user to get the desired output. The instrument offers the cutoff frequency of 25 Hertz. The output signal range of the device is ± 5 volts. The value of the gain is 0.5. It also incorporates built-in high impedance, with the value of 10 Giga-ohms and is connected in parallel with the capacitor of 10 Pico-farad. Additionally, the device has a maximum working voltage of ±15 V.

The NI SCC–LP01 Lowpass Filter Module delivers a roll-off rate of 80 dB per decade. The instrument has a low value for total harmonic distortion, which is -90 decibels at the cutoff frequency. The maximum analog power consumption of the module is 135 mW.
