Part Number 779051-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments USB-6008 Multifunction I/O Device.The 779051-01 features analog inputs that can be configured as 4 differential or 8 single-ended, software-selectable channels. The input resolution in the differential and single-ended modes are 12 bits and 11 bits respectively. The maximum sample rate is system-dependent and can reach up to 10 kS/s. Likewise, a success-approximation ADC is used for analog-to-digital conversion while the FIFO size is 512 bytes. The channels support differential input ranges of ±20 V, ±10 V, ±5 V, ±4 V, ±2.5 V, ±2 V, ±1.25 V, ±1 V, and a single-ended range of ±10 V. 

The 779051-01 also features 2 analog output channels with an output resolution of 12 bits. The maximum update rate on these channels is 150 Hz (software-timed) and the output range is 0 to +5 V. The output impedance is 50 Ω and the output current drive is 5 mA. The slew rate is 1 V/μs while the short circuit current is 50 mA. In addition to the analog channels, the 779051-01 also comes with 12 digital I/O lines where each channel can be individually programmed as input or output. The device features a USB series B connector for a USB connection and 16-position screw terminal plugs for an I/O connection.
