The part number 783149-01 from National Instruments is the identifying part number for the USRP-2944 Radio Device. This device has two transmitter channels that have a frequency range of 10 MHz to 6 GHz. The power of the signals transmitted over varying frequencies has a range between 50 mW to 100 mW for 10 MHz to 4 GHz signals while the power reduces to 5 mW to 50 mW for signals with the frequency range between 4 GHz to 6 GHz. This radio device requires an input voltage of between 9 volts DC to 16 volts DC to operate while drawing a maximum current of 7.5 Amperes. The device can consume a power of anywhere between 38 Watts to 44 Watts depending on the number of channels being used, and the type of application this module is being used for. It is necessary to use an LPS or a class 2-rated power supply with the 783149-01 for safe operation.
