National Instruments VXIpc-650 Embedded Controller

The VXIpc-650 is an Embedded Controller that belongs to the VXI/VMEpc 600 Series. The VXIpc-650 Controller is designed by National Instruments. The NI VXIpc-650 is a B-size embedded computer, which is based on x86 Processor architecture and on the Peripheral Component Interface (PCI) bus. The VXIpc-650 can be installed in two B-size slots in a VXI mainframe. This high-performance, simple to utilize controller, offers complete VXI functionality via interactive utilities and C function calls.

The National Instruments VXIpc-650 Embedded Controller additionally has Ethernet capability, along with an IEEE 488.2 interface compatible with the NI-488.2 architecture. This embedded computer can take complete advantage of the VXI backplane capabilities, providing you control of VXI registers, trigger, memory, and interrupts. The VXIpc-650 can be utilized to reach complete VXI slot 0 control of a VXI system. The module can be installed in another slot and used in Non-Slot 0 mode as well. When switching between these two modes, it is not required to change any jumpers.

This Embedded Controller is VXI plug-and-play compliant and is compatible with PC-compatible software tools.
