Pickering 40-670A-022-198/1 Very High Density Multiplexer Module
The Pickering 40-670A-022-198/1 is a 3U high-density PXI Multiplexer Module with an extremely high channel count that can be used as a part of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or Data Acquisition Systems. It offers 198 individual 1-pole switch channels in a single slot, providing a great deal of connection capabilities to manage many different signals in an extremely compact single-slot PXI form factor. Additionally, it uses high-reliability ruthenium reed relays, which provide constant contact resistance and have a long operational life and provide reliable performance in difficult testing conditions.
Another benefit of this specific 40-670A-022-198/1 multiplexer is that it has automatic isolation switching. In this way, the capacitive load and leakage current on large systems are minimized because only the bank of the active channel will connect to the common terminal; therefore, signal quality will be maintained. All user connections are made using a front panel 200-pin connector. It is also necessary to note that this version of the multiplexer only allows for one channel to be selected from each bank and does not allow for the simultaneous selection of channels like some of the other versions in the same family.
The Pickering 40-670A-022-198/1 is rated at 150 VDC or 100 VAC max voltage. 5 amp max current and 10 watts max power.
