Spirent 400140 AX/4000 Broadband Test System

The 400140 Spirent Adtech AX/4000 Broadband Test System is one of the most powerful systems for testing the performance and Quality of Service (QoS) of broadband technologies. This modular, multi-port system can test multiple transmission technologies (ATM, IP, Frame Relay, Ethernet) up to 10 Gbps. It’s designed for flexibility and scalability with field programmable test modules and over 35 interchangeable interfaces to support various transmission technologies and connection types.

The Spirent Adtech 400140 AX/4000 system is built to withstand the toughest testing scenarios. Software options allow conformance testing to the latest industry standards so it’s perfect for performance testing under extreme conditions. The system can test at access and core backbone levels to validate network scalability, reliability and performance before deployment. A WAN emulator technology license (P/N 401600) is also included.

The system consists of a 16-slot XL Mainframe Chassis, generator modules and port interfaces for various technologies and speeds. Notable interfaces supported are OC-12c/OC-3c/STM-4c/STM-1 interfaces in single-mode and multi-mode and the system can test transmission technologies from 1.554 Mbps to 10 Gbps. Generator modules like the 1 Gbps Generator/Analyzer Test Module (P/N 401400H) allows for performance testing in various broadband scenarios.
