Spirent Adtech 500002 Generator

The Spirent Adtech 500002 1Gbps Generator is part of the Spirent AX/4000 System and is a high-capacity testing system to test performance, Quality of Service (QoS) and reliability of broadband networks. This system supports multi-protocol environments and can test network performance across IP, ATM, Frame Relay and Ethernet technologies. Essential for producers of equipment and telecoms. It can do protocol analysis and diagnostics and test high-speed L3 IP via a variety of network technologies at up to 1 Gbps throughput.
 
With advanced software options, the Adtech 500002 can test IPv4 and IPv6 protocols and high-speed PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) for various broadband applications. IP over ATM, IP over Frame and IP over Ethernet modules allow complex network emulation and see how the network behaves under different traffic loads and protocol settings. Good for QoS testing where it can test latency, jitter and packet loss to verify network stability and optimize configurations.
 
A unique feature of this Spirent Adtech is the OC12V3 Generator (15303) which extends the analyzer’s reach to high-speed optical networks, ideal for testing in metro and core networks. Modular design allows for field upgrades and flexibility to adapt to changing network requirements. The AX/4000 can support up to 32K PPP sessions per port and emulate user sessions at scale to simulate real world network conditions.
 
As broadband rates and protocols advance, this system is a future-proof solution since it is expandable and can reach 10 Gbps on additional compatible modules. The AX/4000 has many interface options and is standards based, so it’s perfect for testing network elements in enterprise, service provider and research environments.
