The LAN-3111A high-speed Fiber Module is an efficient device with a high port density which helps test a small-scale simple one to large-scale complex networks. One of the finest features of the LAN-3111A module is the emulation of realistic live network traffic. Sequence tracks, latency statistics, and variation of the frame in traffic streams can be effectively analyzed with the help of the LAN-3111A SmartMetrics Fiber Module. Moreover, the LAN-3111A module can help perform stress testing of the network devices as well.
The LAN-3111A high-speed SmartMetrics Fiber Module holds 6 ports capable of performing full-duplex operation through a 1300 nm wavelength multimode fiber. The data transmission at a line rate of 100 Mbps and frame length 24 to 1600 bytes with error generation and detection characteristics is accomplished by the SmartBits LAN-3111A high-speed Fiber Module. In stream-based transmission mode, each port of the SmartBits LAN-3111A module transmits a maximum of 1000 streams independently. The physical interface of the SmartBits LAN-3111A module complies with the IEEE 802.3 specifications series.
