In a configuration with the SmartBits SMB-600 and SMB-6000B performance analyzer systems, the SmartBits LAN-3302A module helps test network devices, systems, and applications with magnificent results outrunning the previous test devices.
The LAN-3302A module is manufactured features a 2-port interface. Each port supports 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps line speed. With the capability of 100% rated wire-rate Ethernet traffic transmit-receive operation, the LAN-3302A high-efficiency module can perform data plane and control plane performance tests of network devices and network applications, respectively. Having the potential of performing with mutual independence, the two ports of the SmartBits LAN-3302A TeraMetrics Module analyze the Ethernet traffic rapidly and dynamically. With a frame size between 40 and 16,384 bytes, the SmartBits LAN-3302A module can produce and transmit a maximum of 512 IP peer-to-peer streams. Moreover, the analysis of 64K IP streams is possible through the SmartBits LAN-3302A module.
The SmartBits LAN-3302A Ethernet Module works with the Spirent Smart Applications SmartWindow tools for automated testing as per RFC benchmarks and interoperability testing. The SmartBits LAN-3302A module comes in a compact body with only 5 lbs. weight with dimensions of 14 x 12 x 4 inches. Furthermore, no internal or external software is provided with the SmartBits LAN-3302A module.
