Keysight/Agilent M9155CH40 PXI Hybrid Coaxial Switch
Keysight's M9155CH40 represents a single PXI slot hybrid switch module that houses two independent coaxial under-terminated SPDT switches. It can also be found under the manufacturer Agilent. The two switches are Keysight model numbers 8765D and will route signals from DC through 40 GHz. As a result, this module is suitable for use in high-frequency Automated Test Equipment (ATE), communication testing, and parameter measurements. Because each SPDT can be switched independently, the M9155CH40 allows engineers to create many different types of signal flow. Since it has no terminating load on either port, it also provides users with the ability to maintain their own direct signal path.
In addition to providing flexible signal path selection, the Keysight M9155CH40 also maintains measurement integrity throughout its entire operating cycle through its guaranteed 5 million cycle operating life and lower than .03 dB insertion loss repeatability. Furthermore, the module's typical operational life exceeds 10 million cycles. The insertion loss on this unit is exceptionally low at various frequencies. At 8GHz, the insertion loss measures .42dB, at 18GHz, it measures .57dB, at 26.5GHz, it measures .70dB and at 40GHz, it measures 1.1dB. The isolation provided by the M9155CH40 reaches levels of 50 dB at 40GHz, thereby minimizing cross-talk that may occur in densely populated ATE switch matrices. Finally, the voltage standing wave ration (VSWR) on this unit remains under control from 1.35 at 8GHz to 1.95 at 40GHz; therefore, it minimizes the impact of measurement uncertainty.
