The Keysight P9243A oscilloscope integrates six instruments into a single unit to support a broad range of measurement requirements. A 3-digit digital voltmeter uses the same scope probes already connected to the input channels. An 8-digit counter provides totalizer and frequency counter measurements without requiring any additional hardware setup. A 20 MHz arbitrary waveform generator is built into the device for signal generation tasks during testing. The protocol analysis in the P9243A USB oscilloscope supports multiple serial standards, including I²C, UART, CAN, LIN, and CXPI. The spectrum analysis with FFT and channel power measurements further extends the diagnostic capability of the instrument. More than 30 automated measurements allow engineers to quickly access repeatable signal characterization across diverse test scenarios. These built-in capabilities make this model a reliable tool for embedded systems and industrial communication testing.
The Keysight USB oscilloscope accepts differential and single-ended active probes to accommodate a wide range of measurement configurations. The high-voltage probe support extends its usability to power electronics applications and demanding industrial signal environments. The model’s zone trigger functionality allows engineers to define precise signal zones and isolate specific anomalous waveform events. This feature improves detection of random and infrequent glitches that standard triggering approaches may fail to capture.
